My 83 300cd will not shut off with the key.
I have checked the lines at the ign. switch, if I pull vac. on the line to the ip it shuts off, the supply line gets 4# off the engine, if I pull vac. on the supply line in the engine bay it will shut down with the key if I keep pumping till I quits. There are no leaks it will hold 10# for 15 min.

The 4in of supply is the problem You probably have a clogged orifice in the brake booster hose. Check it first.

I Checked at the T on the booster line, got 20+, ran a line to ign. supply line, no good, hooked hand pump to same, pumped 7# turned key off, used up 7# pumped once and it shut down, 20# didn't work but pumping did. The 4# is on the round things, they leak down to 4 and hold. Are they restricters? What should they hold?
