Vacuum lines to replace...

Hi All,

It appears the lines going IN and OUT of the ICV isn't sealing properly. These are vacuum lines right?

If so, where do they end? If I replace these, shouldn't I just replace all the vacuum lines that go bad due to heat? If so, can someone itemize them for me such as location and endpoints....

thanks,

One hose goes to the intake manifold and the other to the throttle body.
The one that goes to the intake manifold is a PITA to get in, the one under the throttle body is a litte easier to connect.
I use electrical tape to seal them. The one under the intake manifold is tightly attached with a tie wrap. It took me a while to get it in there, what a pain!!!

Check under Breather Hoses. The 2 important ones (well, they are all important -I mean the ones that can't take the heat and fall apart) are those that hook up to the ICV.

Good Luck

ICV

Is "ICV" synonymous with "Idle Speed Actuator"?

thanks,

I am familiar with "Idle control valve"
and have heard "air slide valve" being used as well.
