124 "porcupine" question
Dear Listers,
Could you please share whether all 124 "porcupines" are created equal. I am strongly tempted to replace the one in my 87 300D (240KMi) with one from a 1994 500E (64 KMi). Your suggestions are highly appreciated. Corneliu |

The porcupine is the blower motor fan speed regulator below the wiper.
Actually, its just a heatsink for the regulator, which is a small circuit board on the underside of it in the middle. But, MB only sells it as one part. I do not know of interchangability of it with other years. HTH,
