Anti-theft alarm light

I just had my car detailed two days ago Prior to this I distinctly remember that the indicator light was green (while I was driving the car), and now theindicator is amber. I have looked through the owners manual hoping to find some sort of reset procedure, to no avail. Can anyone give me any ideas on what the amber light means. Alarm malfunction? A short somewhere? Thanks in advance.
