Fan blades for 400E 300E are they the same?

About a year ago a delivery truck backed into my 92 400E and demolished my front end. The truck's insurance covered everything. Had a local insurance claim shop do the work I thought everything was ok,, only I'm running into a strange problem now:

When going down hill about 15 to 20mph and come to a rapid stop I get a noise sounds like the fan blades hitting something.

I poped open the hood and inspected the fan blades, they are obiously used from a wrecking yard, and have 300E written all over them? I'm thinking they are possibly the wronge size? hope the fan clutch isn't bad, thats a $600 part I'm told.

Needless to say wasn't to happy with this shops work as I had to take the car back several times , for miswired electrical, missing bolts securing the fenders to the frame.

Any info on the fan blades would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

it seems doubtful

to me that they are the same. dunno though.

if they are different i would try to make the shop get the right ones for you.

it would seem though that they prob are the same diameter, so i would look at adjusting the fan shroud and if that looks well centered i would look at motor mounts.
