I am looking to buy a 98 C280 Sport and want to know your opinion about this model. It's a starmark car w/ 35k mile and in very good condition. Thanks

Consumer reports rates the '98 C class
as very good overall in all their reliability categories. Check the wiring harness issue. Look it up in the archives. Benzmac sounded the alert. Enjoy! ------------------ 1979 300D 133K miles 1989 300SE 1995 C280 |

Just got the car today and everything look good. I am however have trouble programming the garage transmitter. I could not get the MB unit to learn the signal from an old Sears unit. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks in advance..
