I recently had to replace some parts on my engine. When I was replacing all of the parts that needed to be removed I had to put the air injector valve between the air cleaner and the check valve back into the rubber hose. There is an arrow on the side of the valve. Should that arrow point towards the air cleaner or towards the check valve? I don't remember. I looked at the valve and reasoned that it should be pointing towards the check valve but I could be wrong. Appreciate any assistance.

I would have to say the arrow points away from the air cleaner. This aspirator/check valve draws fresh air into the system and prevents exhaust from escaping. The arrow should denote the direction of flow. The Pro's here will correct me if I'm wrong.
