Finally fixed intermittent wiper on '90 300E
I bought my current Mercedes over two months ago, and ever since i have had it, the intermittent wiper has never really worked. So, I took out the "combination" relay (three smaller relays in one bigger box / one is the intermittent wiper, one is the rear window heat, and one is the hazards) and cleaned all three since I did not know which one the wiper relay was. I was able to seperate the little contact plates from the (super magnets?) and swivel them out. Then I used a fine sand paper on the contacts and then cleaned them with some alcohol. I put it all back together and plugged the relay in, and now the intermittent wiper mode finally works. Yeay.... -- Mike

In the fusebox
There are relays behind the regular fuses. Need to unscrew the cover to get them.
