Source for knock-off for spoke wheel?
Hi there:
had my W109 tow to the shop recently and neither the tow truck driver nor I had thought about the consequences of towing a car backwards with knock-off rims at high speed The tow truck driver found the wheel later on in the ditch but couldn't locate the knock-off itself. Does anyone have any idea where to go look for a replacement? Thanks, Harry. |

i would try the mfgr of the wheel first.
then i would try dayton wire wheels in dayton oh. if anyone has one they might. i wouldnt be surprised if the wheel is a dayton. i once lost a wheel from my avion trailer (dont ask why). while driving maybe 40. never could find it and three of us looked quite a while. tom w

there was a set of three on ebay a few months back. I was most annoyed that they sold for 11$ to somebody else 'cause I wasn't around to bid. -cth
