1980 W116 pressure regulator rebuild
Dont want to pay the $80 the MB dealer wants for the Bosch CIS fuel pressure regulator rebuild kit. It looks like a couple of o rings would do the rebuild quite nicely. Anyone know what o rings are in there? Thanks Bob

We talking about a 450 or a 280? Both had bosch CIS injection. It looks like both use the same part - Phil has the kit for $49.25 (I believe you want part 3.437.010.021 - do a part search under the "Buy Parts" tab at the top of the page). Looks like more than just a few O-rings come with it. Plus this rubber is probably special rubber (if not nylon) that can withstand fuel exposure - normal O-rings would be eaten away in no time.
