It's one of those rare 8 foot long Mercedes, or the camera is distorting the image.

A coupe with no rust in the floors and rockers is always a nice thing to have.
Any chance this is "one of those"? -CTH

i have no idea what this car is. i'm hoping that it's a diesel with standard -not that familiar with the options that are on the 2 door 114's. let me know if you can give me some advice. i'm just trying to save it from the crusher.

If it is rust free and you can get it running it would be worth at least a few K.

It's probably a 250/280C. Looks nice though. It's not a diesel as they didn't make any W114/5 coupes but that doesn't mean you can't

It looks pre-73 according to mirror and window configuration. For many years practically every car I bought was unadvertised. Track down the owner and he might give away for less then $1000.

is it that hard to convert to a diesel? i see '75 & '76 300d's all the time. they price the motors at $100 if i pull and $300 if they pull it. it would be great to convert to bio.

a fair amount of work but it all should bolt in.

prob have to change entire drivetrain back to diff. speedo, and i am not sure about the gas tank. if it has a carb you might have to change the tank too. if it has fuel injection you may just have to change the filters and some of the lines back there where the gasser fuel pump would be eleminated.
