i dont know if i would pay that kindof money though. you sure couldnt dupoicate it for that unless you were really good with a welder. tom w

Amazing ~ I was out just driving around the other day and saw it parked at a curb . I like it a -lot- .
Hard to imagine it's worth over $5 ~ $6 K though . The Mercedes junkyard in Fillmore , Ca. has a W-116 Diesel pickup , it's a hideous yellow but it's cheap last time I checked , they cannot seem to decide to sell or keep it .

It's got California commercial plates like the pickups have in California, too, it's a legitimate pickup truck in the eyes of the DMV.
But it's an acquired taste though, and I haven't acquired it. I never warmed to the El Caminos and Rancheros.
