W116 Antenna Mast Needed

My mast met an unfortunate demise one day with an anxious parking deck gate . I see a bunch of smooth-cord replacements out there but mine needs to be of the notched/grooved variety.

Where can I find one???

has the motor been update to the plastic body type? if it is the aluminum boy motor it will not be notched, may have the wrong mast installed

I would be interested to find one too. What's the point of having a smooth mast with no grip???

the point is on the aluminum antenna motor the wheel in the motor has the grip so it isn't needed on the mast. the plastic mast part is actually larger in diameter on the grooved mast, this may cause the older motors work harder.

Hiraxhmann sells a universal replacement. Didn't bolt right up, comes with a bracket you bend to fit your car.
