Can anyone recommend a good rebuilder for the Zeniths?

I found these guys online:

http://www.carbsonly.com:80/

They were responsive to my email inquiry and quoted $169 each to rebuild my Zeniths which seemed reasonable...anyone else had theirs done or had experience with these guys?

Zenith rebuild

When I rebuilt mine 2 years ago, I had never rebuilt a vehicle carb before, only motorcycles. It was straightforward but time consuming. It was about 10 hours, with a 60/40 split of time between 1st and 2nd.
I'm getting 15 mpg in mixed city/highway driving; I am easy on the throttle.

You might pull them, buy new phenolic bases (or true them on a piece of glass like I did), and fix your leak.

Can you explain what you mean by that?

Phenolic bases

I'm not sure of the spelling of 'Phenolic', but under the carbs they interface with the top of the manifold. They tend to warp from the exhaust heat, and create seepage and/or loss of vacuum. Glass is flat, so using a figure-of-eight sanding pattern, they become flat again.

Great approach. Sure beats my method of making up eight new thinner gaskets and including them with the original ones although it works. I am an instant believer. I have been told the originals are quite expensive new.
