109 steering wheel removal

Is there any trick or special tools needed to removed the center pad off my 6.3 steering wheel? I have something rattling in there and its driving me nuts. I hate to break anything by experimenting, so any advice is welcome.

thanks
Fred

Fred,

Just pops off, held on by three plastic nubs.
