looking for a W108 trans tunnel to fit a 5 speed lateral shift trans

Hi all,

I'm going to fit a lateral shift 5 speed manual trans in my '62 W111 Coupe. I looked under the car and there is no way the rods will have enough space under there. I theerefore need to graft a tunnel out of a later model that came with these lateral shifts. I also believe that any car equipped with floor auto shift would do.

If you know of a donnor car in the DC area or neighboring States where I could go and cut out the tunnel please let me know.

How about one from a 3.5 coupe/cab or a 6.3?

A 6.3 would do. If you know of a 3.5 cab body lying around, tell me quick. I may take more than only the trans tunnel!
