cross reference with eBay. I think they are around 250-400 depending on the condition.

Wow.

Wish you had bid on the ones I've eBay'ed over the last few years.

I've sold 4 Europa mono radios and got $50-100, and I'm assuming the reference radio is the pinstripe, chrome frame style.

All worked, were not damaged or missing pieces, and the top dollar one went for a Europa that had been rebuilt by Becker around 6 years previously.

The Europa stereos command a bit more money, and the Mexico cassettes can bring the price up even more.

A lot of the interest depends on condition, both physical and functional.

Becker sells all the parts to replace missing knobs and cracked faces, so even a damaged radio can be resurrected. Now, sending one to Becker will approach the higher range quoted in the last response.

Jim

The coupe/convertible W111/W112 and the roadster W113 used a different radio face. Slightly slimmer than the sedan, and more difficult to find and purchase.

My previous post related to transistor equipped radios, some one piece, others two piece. Valve, or vacuum tube equipped radios, would potentially command a different price. When installed, other than the knobs, I would think the cosmetics would be transparent.

Does anyone know when the changeover took place for Becker? I've seen all transistor radios in 1963 cars (not necessarily MBs), and found tube radios in 1962 cars.

The search bar was used on the Becker Mexico AM-FM, not the Europa.
