W108 Carb Removal

Is there a good trick anyone knows to removing the carb mounting bolts from the engine side? As you look at the carbs from front of the car, its the bolts on the Right side.
I just cant seem to get any leverage with a wrench...its too tight against the cam cover.

Thanks!

Gotta remove the cam cover, otherwise there's just no room.

Cam cover off and a 12 mm stubby will easily fit. I really struggled until I grabbed a set of extra stubby stubbies and the job became a breeze.

I do it by hand in three passes to "snug" starting with the middle bolt. Set the gasket evenly every time.
