Help right turn signals blows fuse on 69 280se w111 coupe
My left turn signal works fine but when I hit the right it blows the fuse every time. I checked the lights at each corner and the wiring for kinks I'm thinking it could be a shorted flasher is there one for each turn signal and if so where is it located.
Thanks |

Does anyone know possible places to check like any relays that would be specific to the right blinker. If so where are they located

The flasher does not know left from right but the turn signal lever and wiring do. The flasher just interrupts the signal to the bulbs, the turn signal switch directs the current left or right. I would remove one right side bulb at a time to confirm or not, whether its a short at the socket 1st. If it still blows the fuse, I would inspect the turn signal switch wiring connector under the steering column. If thats OK then look under the rubber boot on the turn lever itself for a wire touching the steering column as the lever is pushed up.
