w115 carb swap?

Hi-

Just got a carb off of a 1969 220. Will it work my 1971 220?
Most of it looks the same, it doesn't have the same type reservoir on top, mine has the white knob.

I think the white knob is the cap to the oil tank located in the top of the carb. For some reason this has to be changed for the correct cap depending on the season.

Mercedes sells a part that replaces this and will work in all seasons.

If the part will bolt up it should work. I don't think there were any mods to it until the 1974 year when some smog rules started to kick in.
