Euro SLC in the Pick-N-Pull

For anyone interested - I just visited the Virginia Beach pick-N-Pull and there's a '78 Euro 280SLC in the 'cars for sale' section for $1299 + fee. Euro bumpers & headlights, Bundt rims, sunroof, power windows, power steering, manual heat, NO AC, M110 CIS engine, 4-speed stickshift (though it says "5-speed" on the windshield) body straight, silver paint pretty crappy, didn't see much rust (though I didn't look under the car). Black interior looked decent - I think it may have been leather, owners manual pouch still in glovebox, radio missing.
Not trying to sell the car, but you could buy it now, or scavenge parts when it winds up in the yard later.

On this note, crazy rays (pick and pull) on route one in maryland had this gutted 68 fin tail (230 if I recall) last Saturday. But wow, the frame, fenders, glass, we're damn near flawless and rust free (was not from around here). Was a sort of powder blue (lighter than mine- paint code 903).
