76 280c ignition pulse

found this line vac electric not sure of behind steering box has black round plug on the end part number says 0356914203 see this blk cover with chain on other end and one other lead going to crankshaft pos senser that's connected the other lead wit part number isn't connected roud black plug orange color any one have idea where this connects

76 crankshaft position senser locatation

crankshaft position senser locatation on 110 eng with carbuerater locatation ??? found this blk round lead disconnected see the crankshaft pos senser connected assuming this disconnected lead goes to camshaft senser other end of the two leads go to a diagonostic box or maybe something to do with adjusting timing ?? not really sure what the black cap with a chain connected next to distributor question is where is camshaft pos senser

It is a diagnostic port. Proprietary use by Daimler-Benz. Absolutely useless, not even supported by the dealer. Might work as a tach pick up or for some type of aftermarket ignition. Also known as a "WTFIT".

thank you mike just found this wire hanging behind steering box with part number 0356914203 google said ign pulse trying to troubleshoot cold start issue was wondering if this wire was the cause my crankshaft pos senser there connected when eng warms up start with no trouble
