280SE 4.5 m117 oil cooler lines
Hi all,
I need to swap these out as they are leaking and the wind is blowing oil everywhere going down the road. Anything special to the swap, and can they be replaced without draining the oil? I just changed the oil and don't particularly wanna spend $50 on new oil lol.

I'm sure you will need to drain the cooler but not the crankcase. The threads on the cooler strip easily as they are aluminum. Be sure not to put a lot of torque on the cooler as it will break the mounting tabs(aluminum again)

ok it was not that bad...for my slow ass.
The fitting on the engine block was a pain in the ass but finally got a vice grip on it and a couple hammer taps opened it up.
