Headlight switch wiring question.

I have a w109 300sel and noticed I can turn the factory fog lights
(I have euro lights) with out turning the headlights .so that means I can have park lights on and fog lights .
Now I think one time my 74 w115 230 did that but not any more . Is there a wiring diagram of the signal from switch to factory fog lights and or have any one ran into this ?
Also I did noticed on my 74 w115 240d there is 2 positions on the fog light position that means is it will pull out twice not like the 230 that is only once .I will like to see if I can do that on both my w115s or it is supposed to happen but something is off

Interesting find! The double pull on the 240D likely controls front and rear fog lights separately. If the 230 isn’t working the same, it might be a wiring issue or switch difference. A wiring diagram or forums like Benzworld could help.

Hi Tony . Will your diagram show each wire coming out of the light switch? That way I can check how does it operate. Thank you
