Just took my 1979 240D [VIN: 12312312 094255] for a road test, couldn't be happier with the engine performance. What I'm not happy with is the Cruise Control doesn't work. I've checked the resistance of the actuator and it falls within the spec's [15 ohms]. What I'm needing now is the correct routing of the vacuum lines. There are two vacuum lines on the actuator. One is solid black and screws onto the actuator and then passes through the firewall. The other is a slip on (black tube with yellow stripe) and is connected to my injector pump Altitude adjusting box. I believe the tube connecting to the injector pump altitude adjusting box is incorrect, just doesn't make sense.
Can anyone direct me to the correct connections of these vacuum lines?
Appreciated. Steve
