Favorite magazine for vintage Mercedes owners

I was looking through the tons of magazines available at Borders the other day and wondered which ones were your favorites. There seemed to be more thatemphasized BMW's than Mercedes. Which one(s) do you guys read?

Skinnned Knuckles is worth the 2$/issue. You won't find that at Borders.

The mercedes Classic magazine is a "company rag", but it's a really, really sexy rag.

Thumbs up

Thanks. I would have never heard of it, if you hadn't mentioned it.

Hands down is Mercedes Enthusiast out of the UK. Not a cheap mag, but the best out there. Many of their articles deal with Americans as well.

Have you seen it on the racks at any American book store chains?

Both the Barnes and Nobles I go to in Houston have it. I go once a month, but you can buy a foreign subscription from the magazine.

Mercedes Enthusiast is pretty good, tho they have changed the format with this months issue.
The MB Owners Club UK produces a quality monthly Gazette, featuring tech sheets, articles from club outings and rallies through Europe, South Africa and Australia, historical pieces on MBs sporting heritage, regional reports, etc. Its only available to subscribed members, and we also get a quarterly copy of Classic - a nice company glossy read.
I havent noticed too many other MB only mags out there, in fact none.

MBCA's STAR magazine always has vintage car stuff in it. Call them at 800-637-2360 or visit www.mbca.org and click on the STAR. They'll be happy to send you a free sample to look over.

Mercedes Classis is excellent, but you will need to order it direct unless MBUSA's policy changes. Current subscribers via MBUSA are being served until their subscription expires. They have advised me that Mercedes Classic will not be available from them after that. This seems counter-intuitive what with ther recent investment in the Classic Center, the new museum, and the heritage advertising...go figure.

I intend to subscribe direct when my current subscription expires.

The Classic magazine from last Sept. had an article about a E500.
Does any one have an extra copy of that issue or even a copy of the article?
thanks

Been liking "Garage" Magazine lately. Also common mags like "Automobile" and "Motor Trend Classic"

Those MB Enthusiast and Mercedes Classic are a bit spendy to buy, much less subscribe - I read'em at the newsstand.
