Injectors

Hi,
Are you replacing existing injectors? You can have yours rebuilt for $17 here:

They aren't cheap, I remember paying around $85.00 for one injector in 1994, for my 300SEL 3.5. The only reason I replaced it was because it had a leak from the body.

Make sure you use the correct hose and clamps on the short hoses between the fuel rail and injectors.

By correct hose and clamps he means fuel injection line and clamps. There is a difference between regular fuel line and fuel injection line. Same with the clamps. The FI stuff is rated to a higher pressure.

Thanks
David

Anyone know of a way to repair a leaking injector body? Replacing the base seal or a hose is simple, but how do you deal with the body leaking, short of replacement?

You can't. If the body is leaking, the injector is trashed.
