re doing interior stuff.
i want to add rear headrests.
and was thinking about window tint but want to stay classy. how about yanking out a rear window shade from like a W140 or... ugh. even an audi, VW, or toyota. power isn't even nessicary. I'm redoing my rear speaker shelf and its going to be taking away some of my rear window. I'm going to add a 3rd brake light if i do the window shade as well. opinions?

A number of Euro models had rear headrests and you can install after market electric blinds. I had one installed on my E30 BMW.
I think tinted windows are quite acceptable.

well.
i like the stock euro headrests... but i don't want to disrupt my MBText. its flawless in all seats but drivers. power isn't a must for me. a part of me likes the manual rear window shade that came in most newer Jetta VR6's. I'd just put it up and leave it. I'm thinking if I do rear headrests that I could get some from maybe a wagon? and incorp. those into my speaker shelf that I'm already modifying to have a shade and 3rd brake light
