Question about Dome light in 280

I what like to know how to remove the front dome light in a 1974 280? I need to replace the whole unit including the switch.

Using a flat blade screwdriver on the opposite side of that the switch is on and it pop out with a small amount of pressure. a new one is available part number 000-825-23-01 they are about $15.00

How does the switch wire in?

a 2wire plug and a 1 lead wire that is the ground that is held by a small screw.

Got a new dome light and install. Works great! The first easy thing...
