Which E-Ignition Conversion for w115s

I see a few brands of electronic ignition conversions for w115s - what is the pros/cons to each brand?

I use the "Hot spark" system which is the same as the Pertronix early system. Some possible conflicts using certain coils but easily resolved using the stock ballast resistors. If you go to a Mega-squirt or other after market fuel injection system then it is a bit "noisy" electronically and you need to filter the signal. You shouldn't leave the key in the "on" period for a long time as it will over heat the magnetic switch and you're stuck until it cools down. This also seems to occur if you charge the battery while it's still connected to the wiring harness. Other than those quirks mine has never missed a lick on any of the vehicles I have installed the set-up. Simple set-up. Remove the dist, cap, rotor and points. Install the switch assembly, pop on the magnet, adjust the gap between the magnet/pick=up components, feed the wires out the original wire hole, replace the cap and rotor. Red wire to positive on the coil (or a switched 12V ignition circuit) black to the negative coil terminal, start car and check timing.

The Pertronix Igniter II is essentially the same except they claim to have solved the "key-on" glitch. Installation and wiring is the same as the H-S.

I used the Crane XR system for years and I was satisfied with it until I went to Mega-squirt fuel injection. It is a photo-receptor system using an optical sensor and I never could get a reliable signal from it. When the cars were carbed it worked flawlessly. A little more complicated set-up than the previous two. It uses an additional switching box which controls the coil. Assembly and wiring is a bit more complicated. Inside the distributor, in place of the points, it has an LED switch and a slotted trigger wheel. Working from a faulty memory system, three wires to the dist., 2 of them get fed back to the "box" and one to ground/earth; The box gets a switched 12V supply, a ground/earth and a lead to the coil's negative terminal. No "key-on" problem and charging the battery has no effect.

Does Crane Cams make a swap? I saw on their website an electron conversion that fits under the stock distributor cap, but not sure if it will fit the MB.

How I found them though is a pic of a 280 in the gallery where the guy says he used a Crane Cams Electronic Conversion kit, but not which one.
