'67 200 D Brake Booster rebuild

I need to replace the brake booster on the '67 200D. I have not found one available, but it appears that I can get it rebuilt. A couple of questions:

-Any recommendations on where to send to have it rebuilt?

-I'd much rather get my hands on a core that I could have rebuilt than send the current one in (a timing issue for me). Any suggestions for a source for a rebuildable booster? I don't live in an area where the pick and pull is likely to have a candidate.

Thanks

Possibly try KARPS or Power Brake Exchange. I plan to send my w108 booster to Power Brake Exchange this week to be rebuilt.

Thanks. Another question: Googling "Power Brake Exchange" brings two options-one in Pittsburgh and one in Miami. The one in Pittsburgh seems more likely. Which were you referring to?

power brake booster rebuild

Hi, too much time since my last post about Benzes, noo, no in love with another car!!

guys, some time ago I rebuild my 108 brake booster, since here in Argentina MB parts are extrremely hard to find, had to put hands on old booster, usually the problem is on rubber diafragms, Ate noticed me that booster is no serviceable, I have many pics, of diassemble and rebuild process, if interested please give me on how to upload pics.
Note, I was surfing web for spare rubber diaphragms, no luck, but I found a local brake parts manufacturer!

BTW, my best regards and salutations for those guys like Walt warren, Mike Drayton, that guy who went to La Joya to inspect the cilinder head I have bolted on, 10000km far, Mike who saw Ebay advise when searching that head, and many, many others who helped me during these years from early 2000 to these days from 4 corners of the world, to keep my beloved 250SE running!
my special thanks to Charles Hart, and to memory of Frank Mallory.
Hope thsi pics can help any other guys whom loves work on theys nice cars, and they are intended as a way to give back what I received.

power brake booster rebuild pics the last two!!

well, thios is the last part of pic series.
these jobs were carried out some years ago, and I did it again early on 2012, by replacing diaphragms, pretty strange, it is suposed the have to be more durable, maybe petrol inside trough vacum hose.
Note that unit is serviceable, its a simple abut not easy job, due you need some special fixture to diassemble it.
diaphrams are compatible with TATA Sumo jeep (a cheap MB Jeep version like), Ford Granada, and some BMW (ajjjjj!!!) model.
I believe I have some pics around for valve diassemble. if needed plwase advise.
Hope this help.

best regards and Happy and oily hands 2013!! to all

Alex, Thanks for the pics on the rebuild! Im not sure I could pull off the booster rebuild myself, but it is good to know that would be an option.
