LPG conversions on CIS injected engines

I'm just curious if an LPG conversion on an engine with a CIS fuel injection system is possible.

Yes, it is possible. LPG conversions work best on engines in excellent condition, however. Any problems with ignition, air leaks will be exacerbated by an LPG conversion.

Conversions on modern systems usually involve the ECU on the injection 'talking' to the ECU on the gas metering. Obviously, this is not possible on CIS since there is no electronic control at normal working tempeartures. Any conversion will be a liitle more crude than with a modern setup.
