re: side lights

I forgot to add that I actually like the lights. I know that people like the clean lines without? -- But I like the lights.

I also like the bullet lights vs/ the larger round lights of the later years.

Just to add -- I also like the us front lights over the euro look.

To your question of changing -- this is a lot of paint work -- it is funny -- I remember being told that good sets of sidelights were hard to find because people wanted to ADD them!

hey joey, long time no chat, you helped out immensely on my flex disc last month, thanx again.

Good link, I've explored that site a bit and intend to upgrade to hella headlamps some day, think they just look so cool and when I did it on my Lancia, the improvement was astonishing -- it became difficult to outdrive my beams at night.

Think I'll do this flashing sidelite bit. Plus, I intend to explore mounting some bulbs under the clear dummy lenses on the headlight bezels. wutdoyathink? I think amber low watt bulbs to lite up off the parking lite circuit would be pretty stealthy. I was also toying with tying the outer ones into the flasher system but the sidelite idea is more effective for truly improving visibility.

go for it ---

I'd say go for it and keep us informed on your progress.

I like the idea of doing something with the dummy lenses up front too. I was kinda disappointed when I found out they didn't light up.
