Question Wheel Caps

The outfit that changed out my studs last spring did not replace the (lugnut) covers on my benz wheels. I am trying to find the lug covers (chrome w/ gold star) and have come up with some confusing price issues. One place (Adsitco) will run me 160.00 for 4 lug nut covers and Performance has them priced at 25.00 each.

Does anyone know if there is a difference? I hate having only two covers with four tires....tacky, tacky, and want to get them replaced.

Help?
Lisa

lug covers

the adsit covers have a big tristar logo and are designed to duplicate the earlier model hubcaps.: Each one covers all of the lugs on a wheel. The performance covers up only one lug at a time.I thought about buying the adsit covers but am not sure how much it would scratch my wheels.

Those big covers will scratch the wheel.
If you have chromed wheels there will be a round mark left in the plating around the OD of the cover when they are removed. Its from dirt that gets in between and the vibration that the covers make while you drive.

If the wheels are painted you could always have them repainted.
Keeping all the covers on is the best thing if you want to use those big things.

Individual lug bolt covers look OK to me but I've never bought or used them.

So, the performance covers are the little plugs that go inside the lugnut holes? Is that correct? I need to get some of them and was wondering how much they cost and where to buy them.

they fit over the end of the bolts. I have no experience with them, only what I see advertised:
