I just got a 1995 S320 and i want to put bigger wheels on the car. How large can I go without altering the suspention or causing any rubbing? What do I need to look for to get the right fit.
Thanks alot, Brian |

. . . small world. . .
Brian,
Mr. FastCalc and FastPort here, old boy! Small world isn't it? For your '95 S320, I see the standard and "Plus 2" fitment; Standard Fit: P225/60R16 97H Plus 2 or More: P245/45ZR18 Personally I wouldn't do it because it will completely change the ride (like a truck!) but will improve the handling. Such a world, can't have both! You could also go to a P235/55R16 with no change in ride (except maybe a little better) and slight improvement in handling. Check out my MB ECU page (red house) if you need some info. [Edited by JimF on 06-25-2001 at 01:25 AM] |

The biggest wheel i have seen is one an S-Class coupe and also a Sedan which had 21 inch Giovanna Dramas.
But i would suggest to 20 as biggest the little extra tire from the 21-20 help a bit more. Adam Morales OUTFIT Performance |
