Need new wheels & tires fror the 126. Looking for good used before hitting Tire Rack - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Since the weather is cooling down here, the a/c compressor is taking a back seat to wheels & tires. The chrome 8 holer's are on my last nerve with the peeling & pitting which is causing air leaks from 2 of them to the tune of 15psi every 2-3 days and the Michelins are about 3/4 done. I priced new silver-finish 8 hole and Dunlop Sport Signatures (205/65VR15) for $780 shipped. Before I pull the trigger, I thought I'd see if anyone in the D/FW area has a decent set of 15" wheels to sell or even wheels/tires in good shape. Post if you got 'em or if anyone in D/FW knows where I might find a set, it would be helpful. TIA...

Can't help ya out, but thank you for valididating my choice to abandon my 16" fack Lorinsers, that have peeling & pitting and one leaking, and abandoning the choice to go with the W140 8 hole Chromes from Tire Rack I ordered in AUGUST, that were supposed to arrive 10/20, then 11/20 and now, to 12,22, I give up.

The painted silver versions should be on the car within a day or two from Tire Rack. About time. I am hoping they will be good on this car I have, not leak and last.

One good thing about the chromes, they are easy to clean.

I have two scruffy but straight wheels that came factory on my 90 350sdl. You can bead blast them paint them and have two to start with. if you are interested pm me.
