Hello all,
I am trying to locate a set of 15in old style bundt cake alloys for my 1980 450sel. I believe MBZ offered these in the mid 1980's and there were some aftermarket versions also available. Any help appreciated. Thank you and regards, Joe Brasileiro |

Thanks for the suggestion. I have sent them a message today. Regarding your question in the 14in wheels for your 300D, if you don't want the bundtcakes, there are a few aftermarket wheels that will fit. Personally I would stick to either the bundtcakes or if you want to upgrade the look, get a set of the 15 hole, 15in flat face from the tire-rack. They look great on the 123's and almost every other model. They look modern, clean and not out of place. The 8 hole ones look really strange. Good luck and I will let you know regarding my search for the elusive 15in bundtcakes.

Go to http://www.m-100.org and ask some of the guys in the M-100 Group. When I owned my 6.9, I frequented that bulletin board and knew of some guys who had the hard to find 15" bundt cakes on their 6.9s. Hope this helps! ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician Precision Motorcars, Cincinnati, Ohio '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '80 300SD '85 380SE '86 420SEL '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk.III '81 DeLorean DMC12 '84 BMW 745i Turbo |

Have checked the M-100 group and indeed there is some talk about the 15in bundt cakes. I will try a couple of leads I got from reading the M100 bulletin board.
