1994 S350D rims-rechrome or buy new??

My friend's S350D has chrome rims -OEM.
He is speculating about rechroming them or buying stock non chrome ones.
I opined that chrome is not the way to go because it does not last.
So, does anybody have opinions, options or rims they want to sell???

Thanks

First are the wheels straight and true you wouldn't want to rechrome a bent rim and probably for what it cost you can add a few bucks and buy new rims even nicer one

PS CJ has a set of those wheels that were redone for sale for $199. just look up his thread in the for sale part of the forum
