Remove sender with crescent wrench? (Picture)
Looking through the hole for the emergency kit into the trunk of my 1982 300D, is this the sender that I need to remove with a crescent wrench (after removing the plug)?

Any precautions I need to take other than lots of rags? Is it attached to anything inside the tank? How long is it?
