Ok I got it started now, the problem seems odd to me! I removed the Dist Cap & the rotor that is secured by three screws just fell off. This shaft inside snapped off my repair manual calls it "Drive dog" shaft. The Performance products catalog calls it "dist rotor bracket". Anyhow I took the one off my parts engine & now it starts but it smoked like a diesel juiced to the gills on waste oil! I suppose the flooded raw gas in the chamber & exhaust is getting spewed out the smoke cut way down after 5 minutes of running but it wont run on its own I need slight pedal to keep it going (approx 800 rpms)

Im hoping the extra gas is gone by morning?

Remember if it has tits or wheels its gonna give you problems.
