I bought my own generator last year after one of the storms and FEMA reimbursed me for it. I would have bought it no matter what but it certainly was nice to have them make the offer for a refund. As for business, I do find it hard to agree that the Govt should foot the bill. A business is in business to make money. They have to invest to make money. Invest in a generator and be prepared if you want to stay in business.
