On 1990E I have coolant leak coming down right side of the transmission. It appears to be coming from a plastic drain pipe that is flattened at the drainage end. I suspect something is leaking on the passenger side of the firewall... radiator for heater or whatever else might be in there.

Can someone tell how to access the area that I want to look at? Must I pull the console and go in behind the radio and heat controls? I suspect this may be a common problem with the 190 because the car has had no events to cause such a leak.
