I am having a problem filling the fuel tank of my 1998 Mercedes ML320; The gas pump keeps cutting off before the tank is full. Could this be caused by either a defective fuel tank pressure sensor or vent valve? I understand the function of the vent valve but what is the purpose of the pressure sensor? Thanks
