The fuel pressure sensor I am referring to on the ML320 is attached to the filling tube neck just below the filler cap (US models only). The sensor in the pump nozzle keeps cutting the gas flow off and it takes numerous attempts to fill the tank. I have seen posts suggesting that a faulty vent valve, resulting in increased fuel tank pressure, might cause this problem. However, I wondered if the pressure sensor, which I believe is part of the evaporative emissions system, could be a factor?
