Story teller...no kidding! When they did "Bad" live at Live Aid and Bono went off and turned a 3 minute song into an amazing 8+ minute affair it was just stunning. I don't know how the Edge kept up. Been my favorite song ever since. |
Yal, I think it was quite appropriate that they let a young girl band plucked out of the audience play "Out of Control"...my favorite from the "Boy" album. I was worried that they would butcher the song on stage but they had it down I must say.
You were at Live Aid? I was only...umm 7 at the time.
Just dug up some pictures...The Edge still had a lot of hair then! I love "Bad" too! It is one of my favorites because it builds momentum as it progresses. Wow, i bet an 8 minute version was phenomenal!
...I'll have to find a copy of it when I get home tonight.
