Maybe there is already a thread on this, I tried looking for it but couldn't find it.

I want to replace the tailgate shocks on my 1989 300TE. The shocks must be tired because they do not quite hold up the tailgate up. I am tired of getting hit on the back of the head by a falling gate.

So any directions (preferably with pics) on how to R&R the shocks would be greatly appreciated.
