I would like to verify the timing for my 84 280 sel? I can not find the specs on degrees ect. I would also like to know what the rpms at idle should be. I think 6500 but not positive.

The car engine races and slows over and over again. The car has only65,000 miles on her and she has sat for a long time. Could this be an injector issue. One thing I did do was I disconnected the o2 sensor and the engine ran smooth. I replaced it and it still is doing the same thing. Any help would be most appreciated.
