Ouch! I feel for ya brother. I had double inguinal repaired with ethicon in 1997... A couple of days is the best case... I was down for a week! Watch those pressure bandages, and get rid of them as soon as the doc will let you. The second day after was the roughest. I prayed I'd not cough or sneeze!

A few months later, my dad had same operation. He di much better, but no ethicon... about a year later, my father-in-law same. He fared very well, with only 2 or so days of he**.

Good luck! Get help going to take a whiz as you shouldn't lift anything heavy for some time afterward.
