So, either you have some taller gears (like 2.47) or the 120 was more like 105 (4580 rpm).

According to my dad's speedo (a 160mph one) (which has been radar tested to within 1-2mph of accuracy) and tach it was going around 4950-5000rpm at 110mph or so, and seemed to be humming along fine.....his car can really rev, I don't know why

mine seems to have more low end power/speed, but the limiter kicks in around what I'd guess to be 4800rpm? either that or it just won't accelerate beyond that. My tach doesn't work.
Thinking about it, we likely didn't hit 120, but he said when he glanced down during that run it was over 110.....hmmmm....I'd say plenty fast though. We should make a video of it....
