As I mentioned in the other thread, guide rod mounts. Try doing a search for "guide rod mount". There have been a number of posts about them, including several how to DIY them, some with pictures.

When the mount goes bad you will get a clunking sound coming from the footwell, or footwells if both sides are shot, when going over speed bumps or pot holes, might even happen when stopping in reverse. The guide rod is the support rod that comes off the lower control arm and runs back to the bearing bracket.
